The technology processes various types of industrial waste (sawdust, rubber crumbs, oil sludge and plastic) for practical high value-added products.
Applications include waste/recyclable treatment.
The technology rests on two-stage thermal conversion. First, the feedstock is continuously fed into a pyrolysis chamber and heated to a certain temperature, producing liquid hydrocarbons, flammable gases and carbon residue – semi-coke. The latter is continuously refed into a smaller reactor with temperatures up to 1000 °C, where CO2 or superheated steam, which are strong activating agents, produce a practical product.
